Now that every detail and idea in the number-one New York Times bestseller The Russia Hoax has been borne out by the Mueller report, the author is back with a hard-hitting, well-reasoned evisceration of what may be the dirtiest trick in political history. Democrats, the media, and the FBI have been living in an upside down world for more than two years. Hillary Clinton's campaign collected and disseminated a trove of lies about Donald Trump from Russian operatives. Somehow this was spun into Trump working for the Russians. Top Washington insiders worked in secret to break rule after rule investigating the president, convinced they'd uncover a conspiracy that turned out not to exist. Somehow this was spun into Trump having something to hide. People associated with the president were pushed into plea deals over nonsense crimes or discouraged from serving by the threat of huge legal bills. Somehow this was spun into Trump's lawyers being bullies. The president complained every day to everyone that the investigation was a waste of time, but he allowed it to continue unimpeded to the end. Somehow this was spun as obstruction of justice. Witch Hunt reminds us that our system of justice in America is designed to protect the innocent. It is, in a word, unfair for prosecutors to smear people who have not been charged with anything. Despite this, Mueller's report is a string of one-sided accusations and out-of-context misbehavior that Mueller knew could never amount to a criminal offense, much less impeachment. It is not obstruction of justice when a president exercises his Constitutional authority. Senior officials at the FBI, blinded by their political bias and hatred of Trump, went after the wrong person. At the DOJ, the deputy attorney general discussed secretly recording the president and recruiting members of the cabinet to depose Trump. Those behind the Witch Hunt have either been fired or resigned. Many of them are now under investigation for abuse of power. Factual, highly persuasive, and damning, this must-read expose makes clear that not only was there no collusion, but there was not even a basis for Mueller's investigation of this charge that has tainted Trump and his administration, and interfered with his presidency.
